September 30th to October 5th, 2008 sees the 16th annual SSAA National and 10th SASS Regional Championships of Single Action Shooting in Australia come to life at Western creek, Millmerran, Queensland Australia. Being the tenth aniversary of the SASS Australian Regional Championships organisers are planning a Happening to eclipse all previous events. Henry McCarty led the charge of the Aussies at End of Trail 2008 placing second in the Traditional World Championship and placing number two overall. Savage Sam placed first in Juniors Category and sixth overall. Five other Aussies made it into the Top Ten Winners Circle..
