The 'Rainforest Rangers' are currently forming as Company G of the 37th Texas Cavalry, CSA. You can follow the links at the left to visit the official home page of the 37th Texas and also a link to its official mission statement.

So basically the mission statement of Company G is as laid out by the commander of the 37th, Colonel Kelley. Our belief is that the desire to defend the honor of the traditional South and the Confederacy, is a duty which transcends nationality or blood ties. The defense of the Confederacy should be and is available to all those who feel that History MUST be recorded exactly how it happened. That means no editing of content, no politically correct interpretations and no out and out lies.

Here at the Rainforest Rangers we believe that the rewriting of the history of the Confederacy and the War for Southern Independence, that has steadily been taking place since the Northern Aggressor won the conflict, needs to be stopped. The Historical truth needs to be told. Nothing more, nothing less.

Through historical research, presentations and reenacting, Company G intends to pursue this mission statement.
